I will be spending my time outside... walking Boone (black lab)! I am sure I will make it to Walmart (once or twice), make some cheesy potatoes and bring them over to my sisters for Easter!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and Easter!
We will be staying here in River Falls. I hope to enjoy some lovely weather. It is my middle child's 11th birthday, so we will be celebrating that on Saturday. We will be celebrating a birthday, our Savior's resurrection, and the fact my husband got a job offer yesterday. Life is good at the Kieren house this weekend!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! See you all on Saturday next week. If we can find the building through all the construction. :)
Happy Holidays everyone! I will be sitting at the coffee shop doing school work ;) Just kidding! Well, actually that is where I am right now BUT...I plan to take my dog to the park, go biking with my family, and have a grill out (if it doesn't rain). I think we might be making time to eat some chocolate bunnies this weekend too! See everyone next weekend! p.s. Congrats Jenn on the job offer for your hubbie! And, happy 11th b-day to your little one...next stop teenager! :)
My children and I spend Easter Sunday with a family we have become really close to at our church. Later on in the evening we will stop to see my parents and of coarse we can't forget the egg hunt that morning. Happy Easter to all!! Jesus has risen He has risen indeed!!
Catching up on school work! Giving a sigh of relief that report cards are done for the quarter... Headed to my 6th grader's volleyball tournament in Spring Valley at the moment. Three games and then back home to continue cleaning in our newly finished basement. Arrange furniture and move girls bedrooms down. Sunday, celebrating the resurrection of my Savior! It would have been my in-laws 51st Wedding Anniversary. Anticipating that it is going to be a bitter-sweet day. Refocusing and praying for the many people facing the struggles of racism, poverty, grief, mental illness and other illnesses.
Jennifer, soooo happy to hear Mark got a job offer! What a blessing for your family. Happy Easter everyone. :)
Whew--busy weekend! Making food, eating food, singing for four church services, orchestrating a holiday, and today, taking a day off from school to spend with my kids and get caught up (if that's ever possible...)
We don't do much for Easter, just dinner at my aunt and uncle's. But the REALLY exciting news was wedding dress shopping with my twin sister. She is getting married about a year from now. She found the perfect dress! And BONUS, it was on clearance because it is from last year! We went out to lunch in Minneapolis to celebrate, good weekend!
I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend. I worked at the restaurant Friday and Saturday nights. My family and I spent all day Sunday with family. We went to my grandma's house first for great food, pinata game, and an egg hunt. Then we went to my in-laws for ham sandwitches, another egg hunt, and a movie. It was a great weekend.
Wow, forgive me, but I am just now looking at this. How grateful I am that the people I'm learning with so freely and generously share their deep faith and good will. Blessings to you all!
I'm with you Christine! It sounds like everyone had a great Easter break. I spent my Easter by going to my husband’s grandfather’s house with all of his 50 cousins and aunts...what a busy household! Later that afternoon we went to my aunt’s house to celebrate Easter on my side! Couldn't have asked for better day!
I'm late on this as well, lots going on with some troubles with a family member! :( Easter was good though, just forced us to take action on a certain matter with a family member. Very thankful though that it was made clear to us on Easter that something needed to be done. I have been spending a lot of my time helping my Dad out with everything he is going through, and have had to make school come second.
Happy Early Easter Everyone!!
